About Rosemary

Recently described as the lute world’s “new star” by the UK Lute Society Journal, Rosemary Hodgson is fast gaining an international reputation as soloist, chamber musician and recording artist.

Specialising in the performance of historic guitars and lutes, she is regularly engaged in major festivals throughout Australia and abroad.

Rosemary is a dedicated teacher of the lute and related instruments and is a founding member of the renowned Australian ensemble, La Compania.
